Meet The Doctor

Dr. Lauren Young was raised in Copley, Ohio, and graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, alongside minors in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2016. Following graduation, Dr. Young completed a two-year post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident during her second year.

Dr. Young is an active member of the Stark County Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She engages in local dental study clubs and pursues continuing education courses to ensure she delivers the highest quality and most current care to her patients. Recently, she has expanded her expertise by completing courses with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, enabling her to offer Botox and dermal fillers for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Young delights in interacting with her pet bird, Snoop, a spirited four-year-old green cheek conure skilled in tricks and phrases. Her passion for birds extends to a dream of owning an aviary one day. Dr. Young also enjoys exploring local coffee shops, visiting farmers markets, and actively supporting her community’s entrepreneurs, many of whom are close friends.

Dr. Young is committed to ensuring her patients receive exceptional care in a comforting environment. Understanding the anxieties some may have about dental visits, she strives to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide attentive dental care, listening attentively to each patient’s concerns.
